There is that girl in every high school that will go to a level to be friends with everybody in this case her name is heather , heather from Ohio Melina calls her . Melina is her friend she is the main person in this book called speak. But I am doing a character analysis on my favorite character in the book Heather.  

     Heather is the kind of girl who just wants to fit in with people . She will where black to fit in with Goth people, become a cheerleader to be closer to the jocks ,and where polo's to fit in with the preps . Heather is also Melina's best friend in the book . Well not for so long ,she tells Melina that they cant be friends because she is always happy and she is so depressed and she thinks that Melina is weird anyway , and she does not want people to see her with her . The reason that Melina so depressed is that no one in the school likes her because in the summer she called the cops and got people arrested and tickets . But what her other friends don’t know is that she was raped and that is why she called the police. But lets stop talking about her and lets talk more about Heather. I also think that heather might have a clean problem because one day Heather had Melina over and  they got in to a fight so it was Heather bright idea to throw open nail polish at Melina but it dropped on the floor ,Heather became really mad that is happened.She worked so hard on her room that no was going to  mess it up . The only person that was going to mess it up was going to be her .

Imagine being one of those girls who is trying to fit in with people . But after reading this I learned that the world of people are not always going to like you , and you are going to like people either. And try not to care what people think of you because you hang around with people that are not that cool at least there always going to be there for you and that is all what matters .
